Cognitive Rehabilitation Therapy: Cognitive rehabilitation therapy (CRT) refers to a group of therapies that aim to restore cognitive function after a brain injury or due to memory loss. CRT is not a specific type of treatment. Rather, it refers to what healthcare professionals may use to improve and restore cognitive function in people who have experienced brain injuries, alzhéimer, dementia or neurological and other medical issues.
Other Areas of Practice
Individual and Couples Therapy: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is based on the idea that when you change the way you think, you can change the way you feel and behave. In other words, if we can learn to think about other people in a more positive and realistic way, it will be far easier to resolve conflicts and develop rewarding personal relationships.
Individual Emotion Focused Therapy: By properly identifying and communicating our emotional experiences, we can enjoy deeper connection with others. Emotion-Focused Therapy helps to expand and redefine our interpersonal context.
Emotion Focused Couples Therapy: Emotion Focused Couples Therapy helps couples to access and reprocess rigidly held interaction positions. Therapy facilitates a shift to being more accessible, more responsive, and more engaged with one another. Therapy also assists couples to view one another as a secure source of comfort.
